Our Philosophy

At some point, you or someone you love may be faced with an incurable illness that is unresponsive to medical treatments. You or your family may have decided not to seek curative treatment. Hospice care is a philosophy of caring that assists those nearing the end of life and in need of help with this process. Hospice provides a meaningful and compassionate experience for the terminally ill and their families. The goal of our service is focus primarily on the patient and their family in the home, in order to assist in maintaining the highest quality of life for the patient and assist with the processes needed at the end of life.

About

Tailored to Patient's Environment

Comprehensive Hospice Care services are not provided in a facility or strange unfamiliar place. They are provided in the patient's home and tailored to the patient's personal environment and needs. Our goal is to allow the patient to remain in the home as independent as possible, surrounded by their family and professionals to assist hourly as needed. We aim to provide compassionate evidence-based treatment and practices, focusing on pain management and symptom control.

Serving a Greater Purpose

Comprehensive Hospice Care brings together an interdisciplinary team of nurses, physicians, social workers, certified nursing assistants, dietitians, spiritual counselors, therapists, and trained volunteers to provide medical emotional, and spiritual support needed for the patient and family at this time of life. We can also serve a greater purpose than just making the patient comfortable. Comprehensive Hospice Care will also assist with documenting memories, writing letters for family members, creating advance directives and educating about the need for a do not resuscitate (DNR) order. Having an advance directive is one of the greatest gifts you can give to your family. It allows the family and healthcare professionals carry out your wishes and let's you decide how to depart this life with dignity.

"O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me."
